In the first post about the “Barbie Games” video, I had shared a TikTok video by user fernanda._.osorio regarding a disturbing eponymous site she encountered in 2007. Fernanda recently uploaded another TikTok video with a recreation of what she saw on the Barbie Games site:
While I would like to help her solve the traumatic mystery from her childhood, thus far, I haven’t been able to come up with anything, at least not by searching the Wayback Machine. A search for both “barbie games” and “barbie” around 2007 mostly comes up with actual Barbie sites, mixed with the occasional adult site.
Interestingly, while looking at the Wayback Machine, I came across one site called wwwbarbiecom.net, and the page said “Account Suspended,” as such:
Is it possible that this was the site she was referring to? Maybe. If it was the type of site that went against the hosting provider’s rules, then that would explain the suspension. Unfortunately, there’s no way to tell for sure. Again, if anyone else happens to remember this site or something similar, please feel free to share in the comments or post it on the r/InternetMysteries subreddit.
In any case, I hope that Fernanda is able to solve her mystery; memories like that can be really hard on you. I had a similar one around age 14, where I saw a picture of a woman tied up, who looked like she’d been stabbed multiple times. I don’t know whether or not it was real, but perhaps that’s why this Barbie Games site fascinates me.
